Welcome to OpenWCM

OpenWCM is an advanced open source content management system that is designed to handle large websites with millions of pages, and small websites with just a few web pages. OpenWCM is designed to make the process of managing and updating a website easier. It also provides strong security controls to keep information private.

This website is a prototype for an eventual production website. As such many of the links and features listed on this site are under construction, or contain limited amounts of information. The site is under active development, so come back often to see our progress.

The initial production release of OpenWCM is scheduled for release in August 2010.

Internship Opportunities

We are currently looking for college interns this summer to help us complete the initial release of OpenWCM. We need programmers, web designers, writers, and training specialists to help us build the next generation in web content management systems.

In a lot of internships, you are lucky if you ever get a chance to do something meaningful -- instead, they have you run the copy machine, run errands, and make coffee. On the OpenWCM project, you will be able to have a direct effect on the design and implementation of an amazing piece of software.

OpenWCM is a start-up with minimal funding. As such, these are unpaid internship opportunities. If you have ever wanted to experience what it is like to work in a start-up and have an impact on everything around you, this internship is for you.
